This week I’m emulating and playing Ocarina of Time I don’t really have much to say about the game, it was the first Zelda game I had and I’m glad I have save states.
What are you guys playing?

I knew late last Sunday I wasn’t going to get my weekly post done by midnight. I had the structure in place and most of the rough draft in hand, but the words weren’t flowing. I intended to get it banged in shape Monday morning rather than miss a week. But other things happened. I’ve been eating unhealthily and hadn’t been in a great place mentally, and ended up having trouble sleeping. I finally got up around 4:oo AM and went back to my office. At 4:30 my elderly dog woke up the entire house yelping. He sleeps every night in the second bedroom with one of my children and their spouse. He was let out of the room and spent the next forty minutes trotting through the house, yelping and otherwise vocalizing. He would stop only briefly for some petting, and slowly calmed down. He finally found a comfortable space to lay down and went back to sleep.

This post is a little less story and a little more cleanup. The area we’re editing was created via strong-arming, due to the fact the breezeway they have isn’t actually possible in the Sims 4 via ordinary means. To install it in the first place you have to convince the game that the breezeway and the house aren’t ‘actually’ connected, which takes knowing some tricks. Once done, it will then make your game more difficult by throwing a tantrum every time you remind it that area of the build is there. To make this new apartment space, we’re going to have to draw attention to the area, so it’s going to be upset.

This week I’ve finished Lies of P. It’s a good game, I didn’t think I would ever beat a Souls-like, but I thoroughly enjoyed the game with it’s perfect blocks, dodge rolls, weapons, bosses, and even the enemies placed around a corner just to stab you in the back for thinking there’s free loot. I also like the Pinocchio theme.

The laundry room and kitchen are both done, leaving the upstairs as its own apartment.

Ever wonder how seemingly sane people can hate popular games? It can happen!
This version of Silver Sable is poorly designed, horribly written, and placed in the game for all the wrong reasons.
Lists of 'best games ever' are dumb and annoying. But like a self-loathing hipster I made one anyway.
Scenes from Half-Life 2:Episode 2, showing Gordon Freeman being a jerk.
Finally, the age-old debate has been settled.
The plot of this game isn't just dumb, it's actively hostile to the player. This game hates you and thinks you are stupid.
I'm a very casual fan of the series, but I gave Civilization VI a look to see what was up with this nuclear war simulator.
I scoured the Steam database to figure out what words were the most commonly used in game titles.
Yeah, this game is a classic. But the story is idiotic, incoherent, thematically confused, and patronizing.
No, game prices don't "need" to go up. That's not how supply and demand works. Instead, the publishers need to be smarter about where they spend their money.
