Merry Christmas and Happy Life Day to all the readers of Twenty Sided!

I didn’t have an active Republic-side character last year. The Republic fleet station decorates with multi-colored lanterns instead of icicle lights.

I kind of regret not paying attention to the Life Day events before. I looked up which locations had decorations, to see if there was something available other than the Fleet space stations and The Promenade on Nar Shaddaa (pictured above) and found several rewards I was actually interested in. Including a Dasta speeder (the same manufacturer as the one Rix uses) that is very, very, red. And some outfits and decorations. Quite honestly, I doubt I’ll be able to get everything this year. I haven’t done the math, but I’m guessing I need several hundred to a thousand of the Life Day currency, “Snow-Covered Parcels.” After a day of playing as much as I could tolerate and doing the one daily quest (that rewards two packages) on three characters, I’m at about 125. And that was on an off day, with no other obligations.

Expecting to do a lot of writing about Final Fantasy next year. Hope everyone has had a great week so far!
DM of the Rings
Both a celebration and an evisceration of tabletop roleplaying games, by twisting the Lord of the Rings films into a D&D game.

The Dumbest Cutscene
This is it. This is the dumbest cutscene ever created for a AAA game. It's so bad it's simultaneously hilarious and painful. This is "The Room" of video game cutscenes.
Object-Disoriented Programming

Happy Holidays to all, and Bah Humbug to my fellow Humbugians! ;)
May your holidays have gone how you desired them to1
Hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas.
I do enjoy when games have seasonal events, tho they are often a real grind a require multiple years to really collect much (looking at you TF2).
Yep. I’m up to 500 Snow-Covered Parcels, and to buy out the store I think requires about 1500. Do-able if I started from day one, I guess…but it would drive me mad. I could be wrong about the amount. Most of the stronghold decorations, the mounts, and the pets can be purchased on the game store instead. And I did realize I can decorate a stronghold for Life Day year-round, which has some appeal, but I’m not going to spend real money on it.
Merry belated Xmas to all
