Having gotten better from being sick, and having a little bit more time this week, I somehow ended up playing Just Cause 3.
After the last few weeks of gaming being more strategy and thinking based, I jumped to the opposite end by playing Just Cause 3. Vary little thought, just glide around and grapple to buildings, tether a car to a tree, tether a bike to a helicopter, or tether a man to a bomb, all kinds of fun.
other than that, I went to IKEA today and ended up with a tiny octopus plushy.

What Does a Robot Want?
No, self-aware robots aren't going to turn on us, Skynet-style. Not unless we designed them to.
Control
A wild game filled with wild ideas that features fun puzzles and mind-blowing environments. It has a great atmosphere, and one REALLY annoying flaw with its gameplay.
Quakecon 2012 Annotated
An interesting but technically dense talk about gaming technology. I translate it for the non-coders.
DM of the Rings
Both a celebration and an evisceration of tabletop roleplaying games, by twisting the Lord of the Rings films into a D&D game.
