I seem to be a lot less patient with lore in the last ten years or so. Except for more lore in universes I already know about.
New universes though? Lore dumps are TLDR. Particularly if they read like that monologue in the original Ghostbusters. Pages of:
X (who I don’t know and don’t care about) did A to Y (likewise), which caused (unexplained phenomenon) and….
