Apparently a woman named Candy has been anxious to get some information to my readers. She’s so passionate about her message that she’s fighting to overcome near-illiteracy to get it out. Told ya. Though apparently Candy does realize after enough futility that it’s a waste of time. After blocking nearly 600 spam, my Akismet installation now has nothing to do. Which is fine by me….
It seems to be working well. I might relax the moderation guidelines, which takes any post with two or more links and holds it for moderation. I hate when genuine comments get pulled out this way, and assuming Akismet keeps up the good work I’ll be able to put an end to that.
I think I had one false positive…. it wasn’t a problem. But I’m sure we have different types of commenters too.
SpamGourmet is also a good way.
