- Big project going on right now at work, which promises to continue devouring time for the next week. It’s exciting, but has been eating into my evenings.
- I have a non-DMotR comic project in the works, which ate up a good chunk of last weekend and will likely do the same this coming weekend. This stuff will probably show up here on the site eventually, but not soon.
- I have a new game here, which really needs to be played.
All of this is an explanation for why I only have two DMotR comics this week, and why I might not have much to say beyond those. I seriously need to think about cloning myself if I want to meet my goals for this week.
I might be able to squeeze in another strip before Friday arrives, but probably not. I’m bringing this up now in the hopes of diffusing your outrage on the approaching comic-free Friday.
Also: Yes, I see the typos in the latest strip. Dang. Thanks, and I’ll fix it when I can.

The product of fandom run unchecked, this novel began as a short story and grew into something of a cult hit.
The Best of 2019
I called 2019 "The Year of corporate Dystopia". Here is a list of the games I thought were interesting or worth talking about that year.

The story of me. If you're looking for a picture of what it was like growing up in the seventies, then this is for you.
Please Help I Can’t Stop Playing Cities: Skylines
What makes this borderline indie title so much better than the AAA juggernauts that came before?
Batman: Arkham Origins
A breakdown of how this game faltered when the franchise was given to a different studio.

Just keep em coming when you can. We’ll try to get over our disappointment. Hehe.
Only two this week? NOOOOOO! Entertain us! ENTERTAIN US!!!
You’re not a blog automaton built to endlessly serve nameless/faceless internet mobs every hour of every day? Pfffft, we know better.
Gaming rule #1: Real life comes first.
(The consequences of failing to heed this rule can be seen prowling gaming stores and conventions, usually preceeded by their stench. They transfix their prey with their beady eyes, and bore them to helplessness with talk of their character.)
So, what’s the new game?
I second SimeSublime request.
Shamus
(1) what’s the new game? I’m intrigued. Our new GM ( tangent- i would like to think that DMotR inspired our group to move from boardgaming back to roleplaying and as the ex-gm i was just too damm argumentative and bitter to gm anymore) has an interesting aspect where a lot of our roleplaying/negiotations deals etc (campaign based has a balance of dungeon hack and settlers/trade) are done by using email a lot for and it seems to work… CC,BCC etc
(2) Dont clone yourself. Personally if i see a clone of me, I know he is out to get me and take over my life so I need to take him out before he takes me out.. it’s common sense… you just can’t trust a clone of yourself… Am i the only one who feels this way?

Take your time, do what fulfills you. I am not one to bitch about the quantity of free ice cream.
You do an amazing job, and I’m grateful for whatever you give.

Orcs of Catan?
You get ice cream, Harvey? I don’t get ice cream.
Does that seem right to you?
I thought Browncoats were about freedom, not equality…
Bah, we meddle too much, anyway.
The free ice cream? Shamus keeps it under the DMotR comics. Just peel back a corner of one some time. You’ll see it :-)
