First the Where’s Waldo scene in the pile of corpses, and now this? Was Mel even trying when he made this?
If you flip back and forth a bit, notice how their facial expressions changes when Mel is on camera and when he’s off camera. Also, one of those guys is getting butt-sex.
So, is it just me or does the beard kinda make Mel look a little (read: a LOT) like Saddam H? Only with a more maniacal outlook…
PS. Before accusations start pouring in, I have been a big fan of Mel’s work, including the Lethal Weapon series AND The Passion. I am a Christian and was moved when I watched The Passion. Admittedly, I had to actively focus on the worship aspects of the film and ignore the hype, but these are the days we live in.

And I’ll be posting to LJ about this later. :) (Linking back here.)
Remember this device being used on Fight Club?
Several scenes before Brad Pitt’s character is introduced, while Edward Norton is still lamenting and explaining his existence to us, single frames are imposed with Brad Pitt leaning on a character here, or standing in the background elsewhere (the only scene I can think of now is the men’s cancer group scene… methinks).
