Christmas is over, so it’s okay to be cynical and heartless again. Thank goodness. That was like holding my breath for a month. Anyway, thanks to Jansolo for this one:

Tenpenny Tower

Bethesda felt the need to jam a morality system into Fallout 3, and they blew it. Good and evil make no sense and the moral compass points sideways.
The Best of 2011

My picks for what was important, awesome, or worth talking about in 2011.
The Death of Half-Life

Valve still hasn't admitted it, but the Half-Life franchise is dead. So what made these games so popular anyway?
Grand Theft Auto Retrospective

This series began as a cheap little 2D overhead game and grew into the most profitable entertainment product ever made. I have a love / hate relationship with the series.
Project Frontier

A programming project where I set out to make a gigantic and complex world from simple data.
Haha! I caught this on another site, but its pretty funny. I’m a big 24 fan. Some of the editing is a little sketchy but it works out just fine.
never watched an episode of 24 before but that was Brilliant.
“You’re on the naughty list.”
“You son of a bitch!”
:p
LoL… that’s hilarious.
“And Jack…. Merry Christmas”
Nice. I have never watched 24 but I enjoyed it.
You should keep Christmas in your heart all year through.
I can’t wait for the return to normalcy! Now if only people would stop referring to current events as ‘after Christmas…’
There are 12 days of Christmas ‘tween the 25th of December and Epiphany.
That movie is done excellently! Good laugh.
That is excellent.
In a similar theme, but even more elaborate and full of win (IMHO), check out the two-part Rare Exports:

I always knew Santa was a terrorist.
And speaking of Rare Exports there’s also a movie in the works!

Rare Exports definitely win. Freakin’ BRILLIANT.
@ #10:
Santa is clearly a Canadian. He lives in the Arctic Circle, comes down to the States and leaves boxes under trees. Typical M.O. of the Canadian Shopper.
Strange that no one else has commented this way, but I kinda found that Santa to be the creepiest mofo I’ve seen in a long time. I think I enjoyed the video (and the concept was neat), but it was disquieting in a way I can’t really describe. That may have a lot to do with the fact that Bauer is always so intense. :)
Was going to comment, but then I realized I was going political””I’ve never been a fan of the implicit politics of 24, so I liked the way that this parody calls them into question.
Is that within bounds? I appreciate the culture of this site, so I don’t want to do anything to poison the well.
