The Gradient of Plot Holes
Most stories have plot holes. The failure isn't that they exist, it's when you notice them while immersed in the story.
Final Fantasy X
A game about the ghost of an underwater football player who travels through time to save the world from a tick that controls kaiju satan. Really.
Silent Hill Origins
Here is a long look at a game that tries to live up to a big legacy and fails hilariously.
A Telltale Autopsy
What lessons can we learn from the abrupt demise of this once-impressive games studio?
Batman: Arkham City
A look back at one of my favorite games. The gameplay was stellar, but the underlying story was clumsy and oddly constructed.

This is post 34542. I am leaving a comment on it. Will this make everything explode? Let’s find out!
Love it!
How did you guys even FIND this page? Just trying numbers at random?
I found this odd duck during the dB move and I honestly couldn’t figure out what it was, what it was for, or who added it.
EDIT: OH, I get it. I forgot about the number being part of the Database Abuse post. I STILL don’t know what line triggers that query, or why.
My theme doesn’t even know what this is, which is why the layout is broken. Like, the comments appear ABOVE the search bar?!? How is that even POSSIBLE?
It never even occurred to me you could leave comments on this thing until you did so.
This is probably the foundation post for your entire website. If you delete this post then every request to your website will start returning 501 errors.
You have been warned… :-)
With the glut of self-referential games over the recent years, this is making me think that this has to be intentional somehow. It’s refreshing to actually come across a crack in the system. Props, Paul.
Also: as a web dev, my favorite touch is that the Twitter feed expanding forces the page as a whole to expand down, creating more scroll space.
Appears broken in Firefox 58.0.1.
It’s kind of a shame that no one found this page before now. It would have been kinda hilarious if someone just left a secret message in the bowels in the site that no one would find until now.
Now I’m wondering what other pages are broken like this.
The comment would still appear in the rss feed,so some people wouldve noticed them. Also Shamus would see them as well.
Oh yeah, I forgot RSS was a thing for a second there. Oh well.
