New format, new editing tools, new video host.  Same band of jerks. We&#8217;re easing into this slowly.  <\/p>\n<p>Since our video is no longer a half hour long, we&#8217;ve been able to increase the video quality.  Previously we were stuck in 320p, but now the show is available in glorious 720p.  Which is a lot more p.<\/p>\n<p><table class='nomargin' cellspacing='0' width='100%' cellpadding='0' align='center' border='0'><tr><td><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nnojMjzn8Xg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen class=\"embed\"><\/iframe><br\/><small><a href='http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nnojMjzn8Xg'>Link (YouTube)<\/a><\/small><\/td><\/tr><\/table><\/p>\n<p>The changes we&#8217;ve made were based on the feedback we got <a href=\"?p=9946\">last week<\/a>.  In particular, the leading suggestions were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Try to play the newest games to make the show more relevant.\n<\/li>\n<li>Try to play older games so as to avoid spoilers.\n<\/li>\n<li>More humor.\n<\/li>\n<li>Less joking around.\n<\/li>\n<li>More off-the-cuff banter.\n<\/li>\n<li>Try to prepare our commentary ahead of time.\n<\/li>\n<li>Cover more ground in each episode.\n<\/li>\n<li>Make the episodes shorter.\n<\/li>\n<li>Move to a more popular, established video host.\n<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t use YouTube.\n<\/li>\n<li>Do episodes more quickly to hold interest and get through the game fast.\n<\/li>\n<li>Less episodes, so it&#8217;s not so hard to keep up.\n<\/li>\n<li>Do blind runs of games.\n<\/li>\n<li>Know what you&#8217;re talking about.\n<\/li>\n<li>Less grief and anguish.\n<\/li>\n<li>More Rutskarn singing.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yeah, we&#8217;re doomed. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No more jokes, this is really the start of our Mass Effect 2 series.
