I tried making a classic \u201cgag\u201d strip. It worked! Not only are you getting less jokes, but I\u2019m doing way less work! It\u2019s almost a win-win scenario. Well halfway, anyhow.<\/a><\/p>\n

I can\u2019t add much to the stuff on sparse loot. The idea has become a sort of zombie joke at this point. It just keeps getting back up, no matter how dead it is. Sooner or later a cleric is going to cast turning on my loot jokes and half of my material will be obliterated in a blinding flash of holy, humorless light.<\/a><\/p>\n

I suppose the next joke needs to be Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas standing on a corner with a crude cardboard sign, \u201cWill fight Sauron for food.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Either you give them too much loot, and end up with a bunch of little millionaires running around buying anything that strikes their fancy. Or you give them too little and your poor party is scrounging around the earth for spare copper pieces to restock their food supplies. I’m sure out there somewhere there’s a magical equation to fair loot distribution, but unfortunately nobody at all in the entire world at large has figured it out yet. And perhaps never will.<\/p>\n
