I did my best, but I&#8217;m curious what other people can come up with.<\/p>\n<p>I acknowledge that the exercise is essentially impossible. It&#8217;s also probably pointless. Modern games are often linked to complex middleware and tool chains that the bedroom programmers won&#8217;t have access to. Essentially, even if you did devise a magical argument to convince an executive to give something away for free, the result would be the release of an enormous code base that nobody can compile. <\/p>\n<p>Still, those old source releases yielded useful and educational things. I understand why the practice ended, but I&#8217;m sorry it&#8217;s over.<\/p>\n<p><strong>34:10 Rimworld<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Paul beat the game. Sort of.
