It turns out that this was simply the longest <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rope-a-dope\">Rope-a-dope<\/a> in history.  In truth, they tricked us in order to make us think that we had won World War II.  <\/p>\n<p>But we actually lost. You know how you can type something sensible into <a href=\"http:\/\/babelfish.yahoo.com\/\">Babelfish<\/a>, translate it into another language and back, and have it come out as a soup of nonsense on the other end?  This does that, except for culture instead of language. <\/p>\n<p>If you watch a few more, you&#8217;ll see <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alan_Tudyk\">Alan Tudyk<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/wilwheaton.typepad.com\/\">Wil Wheaton<\/a>, and (no kidding) <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ron_Jeremy\">Ron Jeremy<\/a>.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the coming week we will pass the 64th anniversary of the apparent surrender of Japan to the Allied forces.
