This usually isn&#8217;t done as a exploration of what games are and how we think of them, but instead it&#8217;s used as a cudgel to denounce some despised trend or title.  <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.escapistmagazine.com\/articles\/view\/columns\/experienced-points\/10192-Whats-in-a-Game\" title=\"What's in a Game?\">My column this week<\/a> is a hilariously pointless attempt to stop this brand of rhetorical shenanigans.
