Today, we&#8217;re going to wrap up the <em>Lair of the Shadow Broker<\/em> DLC with a special two-part episode. <\/p>\n<p>I know this is longer than most of you prefer, but if you can tough it out you will reap the following rewards:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Mumbles and Rutskarn will beatbox their way into your heart during one of the special instrumental &#8220;oops Josh is dead again&#8221; interludes.\n<\/li>\n<li>I do my Doctor Claw voice.\n<\/li>\n<li>Rutskarn and I say something about the game that might be construed as marginally positive.\n<\/li>\n<li>We find out how much hard drive space Josh has.\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><table class='nomargin' cellspacing='0' width='100%' cellpadding='0' align='center' border='0'><tr><td><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AUBuYRTB_m4\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen class=\"embed\"><\/iframe><br\/><small><a href='http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AUBuYRTB_m4'>Link (YouTube)<\/a><\/small><\/td><\/tr><\/table><br \/>\n<table class='nomargin' cellspacing='0' width='100%' cellpadding='0' align='center' border='0'><tr><td><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Cf6ChiWC71k\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen class=\"embed\"><\/iframe><br\/><small><a href='http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Cf6ChiWC71k'>Link (YouTube)<\/a><\/small><\/td><\/tr><\/table><\/p>\n<p>Aside from the fact that he was a new, unique alien, I really had no idea what the Shadow Broker was like. I guessed that he looked like Bowser, as a joke.  Later I guessed that he was Dr. Claw, as a joke.  I guessed that he had a throne room, as a joke. I made these guesses for humorous effect, because of how <em>stupid and absurd they sounded<\/em>.  Then at the end we found out he looked like Bowser, sounded like Dr. Claw, and sat around a throne room.  <\/p>\n<p>BioWare is like your high school sweetheart that you marry right after graduation, and then wake up one day years later and realize you simply don&#8217;t know this person anymore. Where did it all <a href=\"http:\/\/kotaku.com\/309937\/ea-buys-bioware-pandemic\">go wrong<\/a>?  It&#8217;s hard to say. Their attention seems to be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.swtor.com\/\">elsewhere<\/a>, and you suspect they might be wooing <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gears_of_War\">someone else<\/a> behind your back.  The only thing to do now is to start drinking and feeling sorry for yourself. <\/p>\n<p>On the upside, the hook at the end was pretty cool and I can&#8217;t wait to see how the consequences of this play out in the next game!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow is the one year anniversary of Spoiler Warning.
