  12. Sem says:

Annoying! I’ve some mp3’s who also use that rewind & replay-effect and every time I hear it I’m always for a second worried that my soundcard just went haywire.

  13. Da Penguin says:

I, too, was someone who looked at the description as ‘awesominly annoying’ but then still watched it anyway..

so where are they taking the Hobbits?

For further annoyance, you’ll need to check this one out.

These sounds more like the clown-versions we’re stuck with at DM of the Rings, I’m sure. ;)

  15. Huckleberry says:

Talking about hobbits and music you just can’t get out of your head:

here’s Leonard Nimoy singing the “Ballad of Bilbo Baggins”:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC73PHdQX04

  16. Stiehle says:

The Isengard video was both funny and mesmerizing, if a little annoying. But the Leonard Nimoy video… *shudder* That was just plain disturbing. Well yeah, and a little mesmerizing as well! :p

  17. Browncoat says:

I didn’t know that Tolkein put Vulcans in Middle Earth.

  18. Liritar says:

What scares me is that I can watch that movie on this laptop with broken speakers, and STILL recreate almost all of the sounds/music in my head. I think I watched it too many times a few years ago. *Laughs*

  19. Dave H. says:

I hadn’t seen this before. My wife was in the other room when it came on, and she shouted out, “What in the world is that noise?”

    I made her watch it.

I may be sleeping on the couch tonight…

  20. Telas says:

So… (he says the next day)

Anyone still got that motherfrakking song stuck in their head?

    I sure as hell do.

The absolute best part is how they perfectly captured Aragorn’s blank stare.

  22. Julia says:

I’m going to second the request for an .mp3. Seriously.

  23. Julia says:

Found the mp3. (Silly of me not to have googled in the first place….)

http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/audio/hobbits has an mp3 download and the video.

(Audio on the .mp3 is better than on the flash video.)

I am so putting the .mp3 on my PDA….

  24. PanDeSal says:

A more annoying LotR video is the one for when Gollum and Sam had a conversation about potatoes.

    1. Old Woman #35 says:

      OMG! I LOVE THAT ONE!
Especially when you get half an hour ‘computer time’ at school, and you don’t have headphones…

  25. George says:

  34. Old Geezer says:

    I’m so old…

This song has ruined more DnD games I’ve been in than Monty Python quotes and Order of the Stick combined. It’s also one of our drinking songs….

  36. Patrish says:

Oh, I’m sooo glad I got Stumble. This rocks.
To Isengard, you stupid, fat Hobbit.
(Will I get a die for posting here? That would make my month.)

    http://www.thevalve.org/go/valve/article/the_prosody_of_itaking_the_hobbits_i/

(Thanks to my friend Gord for pointing out its existence!)

  45. Julia says:

Some day, someone will come along and read this comment and laugh his (or her, but more likely his) ass off — for each of my kids, there’s a song that will help with calming in stressful situations.

My daughter’s song? This! (If she’s really upset and we’re at home, we pull up the video. If that’s not available, the mp3 will do. She got it 3 times in a row the other night after her twin brother knocked her over and hit her.)

  46. Doug says:

There’s Klingons on the starboard bow,
    Starboard bow, starboard bow.

  59. Tim says:

Don’t know if anyone cares, but this: http://www.icompositions.com/music/song.php?sid=105330 is pretty awesome. It’s a remix of various themes from Lord of the Rings… without annoying speech loops.
