Shawn is coloring the very last CB strip tonight, if you’d like to watch it on livestream.

UPDATE: All done now, but the comic itself will be up later this week. If you want to see the replay:

Part 1. (Skip ahead to about 1 hour, 40 minutes to get to the CB stuff)

Part 2.

And check out Shawn’s Livestream chanel if you want to see him drawing other stuff.

    It’s true.

By the way, if you guys go to http://www.livestream.com/clockworks, you can join in the chat room and make snarky comments about the broadcast, as opposed to just watching it.

    1. Ramsus says:

I will take you up on that offer!

  2. SatansBestBuddy says:

Excellent, I was just thinking of a way to waste away the night.

  3. Shawn says:

Video done. If you’re horribly bored, you can watch what happened here:

Anyway, expect the comic to go live on Wednesday.

    1. David says:

…so, did Shamus’s computer die when he was about to do the lettering, or did you guys think to yourselves “hey, let’s just complete the comic we promised back in September, didn’t get around to starting work on until February, and took two months to actually finish, and then sit on it for a while for shits and giggles”?

Seriously. If you guys had started work on the thing when you announced the rerun you could have finished the bonus comic, tossed it in the bin, and then done an entirely new bonus comic and still have had it ready for release on the update schedule planned. Nice job boys.

      1. Shamus says:

There is way more to this than just typing words on a picture, particularly since we’d never told a joke image-first.

“Anything I don’t understand must be easy to do.” – The Pointy-haired Boss, Dilbert.

        1. David says:

Good thing you made good use of all the time you had since you announced the bonus comic in September then.

          1. Shamus says:

I don’t intend to give an accounting of my time to make sure I’m working hard enough for you. Find someplace else to act like a jerk.

            1. David says:

You promise a bonus comic and then sit on your hands until it’s months late. I call you on it and that makes me a jerk.

Clearly in Shamusworld a “jerk” is someone who holds people to their commitments, whereas the socially graceful thing to do is let people break their word without comment.

              And with that I’m out.

              1. Shamus says:

                “Sat on your hands.”

Yeah. It’s not done ‘cuz I’m LAZY.

You aren’t holding me to a commitment, you’re calling me a liar and throwing a little tantrum.

                Good. Piss off.

              2. Bryan says:

                > I call you on it and that makes me a jerk.

Welcome to this thing I like to call “life”. Being a jerk — surprise! — makes you a jerk.

Shamus has *zero* obligations to *any* of us.

              3. OEP says:

Well, since Shamus “broke his word” to you, please feel free to demand a refund…oh wait…

  5. Jarenth says:

    The end of an era.

  6. Shawn says:

You mean the era of waiting for us to actually finish the bonus comic? Yes, yes it is. ;)
