PC Gaming Golden Age
It's not a legend. It was real. There was a time before DLC. Before DRM. Before crappy ports. It was glorious.
Zenimax vs. Facebook
This series explores the troubled history of VR and the strange lawsuit between Zenimax publishing and Facebook.
D&D Campaign
WAY back in 2005, I wrote about a D&D campaign I was running. The campaign is still there, in the bottom-most strata of the archives.
Trashing the Heap
What does it mean when a program crashes, and why does it happen?
Batman: Arkham Origins
A breakdown of how this game faltered when the franchise was given to a different studio.
It’s ALL good, Shamus!
Next, Mario will no doubt become a regular on The Love Boat. Can’t wait for the lolz when the love quadrangle forms between Mario, Julie, Doc, and Charo.
I didn’t think you’d actually do it. I’m glad that you did.
Was this a Mario model someone made for Gary’s Mod?
Groboclown: I think this is a model a fan pulled out of another game (Sunshine, probably) and dropped into GMod.
Poor Mario, no one knows the real him. :)
Wow…it’s incredibly apparent how off Mario’s body ratio is when you put him next to an accurately modeled human figure.
Definitely on mushrooms I think.
Comedy gold! Thanks :D
(Edit) Or should I say Golden Mushroom?
…
Aah, I got nothing.
I choked on my cereal when I got to the cheering Metro. Thanks for the lulz :D I loved it.

So, I pre-ordered Mario Galaxy from Gamestop back when it was coming out. If you’ve never pre-ordered from them before, you’ll get a call a day or so in advance of the release to tell you when you can come pick up your game.
Except for this game, I got the announcement in Mario’s voice. “It’s a-me, Mario!” I thought it was cute for the first minute or two. But this thing went on and ON for almost five minutes. It was insufferable. I don’t know if I’ve heard so much dialogue from Mario since his abominable cartoons from my childhood.

DONOTWANT (*boing!*) ;)
Best
Cartoon
Ever.
And I’m including in that “ever” the cartoon that brought down the NAZIs…
read it and laughed. thanks because moviebob screwed the pooch today.
Aw, this comic makes me feel incredibly sad for Mario. A tortured soul, forced to live his own character’s life 24 hours a day. And if he ever tries to hold an intelligent conversation with anybody, it always degenerates into “Do the Mario thing!” What a sad, lonely existence.
It was still funny to think of Mario as a thespian, though.
Wow, that was a fun one.
