Do your best, I’m counting on you.

So I said, ” I don’t want anything too obvious.” and she said ” Not to worry, it will just blend in the grey.”

  2. inara says:

“It’s all fun & games until someone gets ambushed.”

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
    gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
    our presence automatically liberates others.

Here’s an example of how my mind works:

    1) One die of one color in the middle of many of a different color.

    2) The one has its maximum value showing, the others APPEAR to have their minimum values showing.

    3) I note that, for the second part of 2 to be true (which is what I believe the intent of the photographer was), one must make what I believe to be the error of logic that the “0” on a ten-sided die is actually meant to represent “0”, and not “10”. If this were true, I could actually roll up a D&D character with 0 hit points to start?

It’s usually soon after that I present 3 to friend/loved one, who tells me to lighten up and get over myself, or something else equally theraputic.

  5. foot says:

    ha! mom wins!

    (as usual.)

  6. Caption:
“Back Off!! I’ve got a Nat 20, and I’m not afraid to use it!”

  7. ocd says:

im using this as my msn picture!!!
    thanks shamus

  8. Tacoma says:

    (movie preview narrator voice)

In a world where everyone else is binary.

One red die must stand up for what’s right.

But what happens when the unthinkable occurs

Will he still roll a natural 20?
