No pictures. No banter. I’m tired, addled, and more tired. However, need to announce stuff:
- If I met you Friday night: Thanks for stopping by. I’m sorry if I couldn’t give you the attention you deserve. I met so many people and it’s all a blur now. Still, even if all I gave you was a handshake: It was great meeting you.
- I don’t have any books left. I brought as many as could fit in the luggage we brought. Sold them all in under a minute. I’m still happy to sign stuff if you come to the LRR panel Sat. night, but I don’t have any copies of The Witch Watch to sell. Sorry. We’re going to set up some other system so you can get your hands on autographed copies. More on this next week, when we get home.
- Looking forward to Sunday. It’s Easter Sunday, and there are STILL passes for sale. (This never happens.) I’m really hoping the show floor will be slow and we can get in to see the hard-to-see stuff without waiting for an hour.
- Lots of exciting gaming news. So much to talk about. But today is Rest Day. I’ma go pass out for a few more hours, then stagger back over to the convention center. I’ll turn this mayhem into content at some later time.

Why spend millions on visuals that are just a distraction from the REAL game of hotbar-watching?
Wow, you sold all of them that quickly? should have just packed suitcases and suitcases of them.
Where’s your Invisible Leather TARDIS?
He misplaced it and it hasn’t shown up at the list and found.
I am 100% not surprised you sold out that fast.
I am also equal amounts happy for you. :)
Amazing. Happy to hear your book is selling well. I’m sure you’re also happy that you don’t have to lug them back home too. :) Looking forward to reading your debrief of the show.
I just got mine in the mail, so any autographing will be if I can scrounge money for a con.
Mine should be arriving tuesday. I’ll come ask you to sign it next time you’re in Belgium :-P
Enjoy the con!
It might not be anytime soon, but I will get my hands on your book eventually.
Glad to hear that your book is selling well. :)
Just a small question shamus but will your book be available in the amazon UK store, hard copy edition?
You probably know this and just want to save on shipping, but in case you don’t, you aren’t limited to buying from Amazon.Uk. I’m in the States and buy stuff from both Amazon.com and Amazon.UK.
Well, it was here, but looks like it sold out already. (Waiting for delivery of my copy – there were some in stock when I ordered!)
Simple plan for “autographing books system”: People order signed books from Shamus, Shamus orders them from whatever source works nicely for him (someplace that returns a good commission and offers free shipping sounds like the ideal plan), signs them, and send them off for cover price plus whatever amount of shipping and handling charges make it worth the time and repacking. Economical, ethical, and the only flaw is finding out that the demand levels for books is annoyingly overwhelming, which I’m sure would be a horrible, horrible, brair patch of a problem.
I hope I can go to a PAX some year and I hope you will be there as well! :)
